Independent Contractor - Dawn Dinwiddie
Dawn has been involved in Brooke's Place since graduating from Butler University in 1999 in a variety of roles. She first joined the Brooke's Place family as a volunteer facilitator and that will always be her first love. After facilitating for many years, Dawn began her work on volunteer committees and on the Brooke's Place Board of Directors. Dawn has served as an independent contractor in the role of Development Officer for Brooke's Place since 2014, bringing her career in nonprofit work and her personal passion for serving those who are living with childhood grief together. In the past, Dawn has worked for Galyan's Sporting Goods in their Community Outreach Department, USA Gymnastics in their Marketing Department, and the American Cancer Society in their Development Department. Dawn has her M.A. in Philanthropic Studies and Nonprofit Management through the Lilly School of Philanthropy and serves the community through her volunteer work at Allisonville Elementary, Eastwood Middle School, St. Luke's United Methodist Church, and the Children's Museum Guild. She and her husband reside in Indianapolis along with their three daughters. Dawn enjoys playing tennis, doing yoga, hiking, reading and, most of all, spending time with her family.
