Brooke's Place 8 Program

BP-8 is an 8-week, peer-based grief support group provided at community partners’ sites, i.e, community centers, churches, schools, etc. This program has allowed Brooke’s Place to expand capacity in serving grieving children and teens. It has also increased our efforts to reach underserved populations, especially those impacted by homicide.

Volunteer facilitators are needed for these short-term programs that usually take place late afternoon or early evening. Facilitators must be trained in the traditional Brooke’s Place facilitator training and require background checks. To learn more, fill out the volunteer application!

"Brooke's Place has given my children a safe place to help them through the process of understanding, compassion and patience to talk about and work through their grief."
