Camp Healing Tree is an opportunity for grieving youth ages 7-17 to be with friends their age who have also experienced the death of someone close to them. Connecting with others with shared experiences helps us know that we are not alone in our grief.
Due to limited capacity, camper placement is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to individuals who have not yet had an opportunity to attend Camp Healing Tree. Following the submission of the camper application, an in-person or virtual screening will be scheduled with each camper. Registration is not complete until this required step is completed.
About Camp Healing Tree Weekend
Camp Healing Tree offers fun camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts and campfires. We are looking forward to offering as many traditional camp activities as possible, along with some new experiences as a way to process grief.
Established in 1995 by a team of devoted volunteers and community supporters, Camp Healing Tree became a program of Brooke's Place in 2018. Thanks to our generous donors, community partners and trained volunteers, Camp Healing Tree is offered at no charge to our participants.
Volunteer registration in now closed.
