Marisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University (2015) and B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University (2012). Marisa has worked and volunteered in several different areas of Brooke's Place including interning while in graduate school and served as a support group facilitator. She has been a therapist with Brooke's Place since early 2017. She is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults in their grief journey as well as with other ongoing challenges including trauma, depression, anxiety, and anger. Marisa also enjoys spending time outside, running, trying new things and new foods, and spending time with her husband, daughter and two sons.
