  • About Brooke's Place and Childhood Grief

  • Brooke's Place

Located in Indianapolis, IN, Brooke’s Place provides grief support services to children, teens and young adults, ages 3-29, and their caregivers in Central Indiana who have experienced the death of a loved one.

  • Our Programs

We serve the community through our ongoing grief support groups, BP8 outreach grief support groups, therapy services, Camp Healing Tree, and community education.

  • The Impact of Childhood Grief

Children living with grief are at much greater risk for substance abuse problems, mental illness, poor school performance, criminal activity and suicide. Brooke’s Place works to ensure that bereaved children know they feel supported and understood and are equipped with the emotional resources to successfully navigate their grief journey.

  • 1 in 10

or 154K children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18.
