Tara Ntumba, M.A., LMHC
Tara joined the Brooke’s Place team as the Support Group Director and a therapist in 2014. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and a B.S. in Church Ministry from Southeastern University. Tara is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Prior to joining the Brooke’s Place team, she worked in church pastoral ministry and with at-risk youth in central Indiana recovering from addiction and other life controlling issues. Tara is a devoted advocate and supporter for youth and families experiencing the pain of grief. She is the proud wife and Mama of her Congolese-American family and finds that supporting others through grief nurtures a greater presence to the beauty that each moment of life brings.
